14. * Grammar Comparative adjectives We can use comparative adjectives to compare two people or things. * Use: Chúng ta có thể sử dụng tính từ dạng so sánh hơn để so sánh hai người hoặc vật.
15. Example: Tom is Marry 1.40m: is => Taller 1.20m: => Tall Tom is taller than Mary. Tall-> Taller
16. 1. Short adjectives (tính từ ngắn) Tom one syllable: tall, large, big, small, long, short, (1 vần) Jim Example: Tom is taller than Jim. S1 be adj+er tha S2 = Jim is shorter thann Tom. Structure: S1+ to be+ adj + er + than +S2

Short adjectives (tính từ ngắn) NOTE: Positive Comparative (so sánh) RULE (quy tắc) fast faster + er large larger + r one syllable Tận cùng là 1 phụ âm, trước nó là 1 slim slimmer nguyên âm, thêm 1 phụ âm nữa mới thêm er. two syllables noisy noisier y → ier One or two narrow narrower syllables : the last + er letter is : quiet quieter ow,er,le,y,et clever cleverer
